We were incredibly lucky as the predicted rain showers stayed away, so we enjoyed a sunny, breezy day walking around the huge site to see as many animals as possible. Some of the children were delighted to see the newly born rhino out in their enclosure, seeing the penguins and giraffes being fed and one of the bears having a fabulous time splashing around in the pool. We had a great workshop to learn more about how animals are classified, before another walk to see tigers, elephants and macaques. The children showed Respect and we were able to Celebrate lots of success of the knowledge they were able to recall about mammals, reptiles, amphibians, birds and fish.
