On Saturday 22nd June we were very fortunate to have a day of good weather to enjoy our Summer Fayre! The children had fun playing on the swings and bouncy castle slide, and they had a go on some of the traditional stalls, such as 'Hook-a-Duck' and 'Lucky-Dip'. A lucky winner got to take home a very cuddly sleepy sloth toy, correctly guessing its name was 'Hush' and one Year 4 pupil was very happy to receive a jar of treats, after he correctly guessed there were 96 sweets in it! Glitter tattoos and face painting, together with ice-creams, hot dogs and cakes all added together to make a happy and enjoyable day for all. Many thanks to everyone who came along to support the fare, as well as all those who contributed prizes, cakes and their time to help make the event a success - we raised just over £1000 to go towards future school trips!
